
Nottingham City Council are hosting one of National Family Week's 8 flagship sports days. Families will have the opportunity to learn about and enjoy playing sports, together with different zones providing a variety of activities. These include a traditional sports day zone with sack and egg & spoon races, an inflatable zone with bouncy castles, slides, an obstacle course and a football target, a health zone with Smoothie bikes, healthy heart games, body MOTs and Watt bikes, plus an interactive zone with circus skills, archery, trampolines, belly dancing and a climbing wall. There is also a soft play zone for under 5's, sports zone with Frisbee, croquet and kwik cricket and a dance zone with workshops including street dance and Bhangra.
So don't miss out on one of the biggest, free events for families set to take place as part of National Family Week 2010.

This event will also be part of the Guinness World Record attempt for the Largest Three-legged Race – Multiple Venues! If you wish to join in and help to enter the record books, make sure you and a family member or friend are ready to start the race at 3pm. And don't forget to register to make sure you count. To save time on the day, you can register now and bring your completed form with you to hand in to one of the organisers.
