The Rotary Club of Swanage & Purbeck are hosting one of National Family Week's 8 flagship picnics! Families will be able to enjoy a feast of fun with highlights including:
- Scrapscape Making Toys (12noon - 2pm) - Team Building Family Games (1pm - 2pm)
- Kung Fu Demonstration (2pm - 2.30pm) - Thai Chi Demonstration (2.30pm - 3pm)
- Balloon Race Release (3pm) - Swanage Town Walks (3.30pm - 4.30pm)
- The Grand Duck Race, launched by radio broadcaster Ed Stewart (4pm - 5pm)
Picnic Packs will be also be available for just £10 which includes 4 rounds of sandwiches, homemade cake, chocolate bars and some grapes.
So with a range of activities on offer for all ages to compliment this much loved past time, The Rotary Club will be providing the perfect recipe for a fun, free day out for all the family. So don't miss out on one of the biggest, free events for families set to take place as part of National Family Week 2010.
Two main car parks close to the site are Victoria Avenue and Northbeach at the end of De Moulham Road.
