Flagship event

Wakefield Council are hosting one of National Family Week's 8 flagship sports days! Families will be able to try out a wealth of fun based sporting activities including quick cricket, football penalty shoot outs, a table football challenge, dance demonstrations, basketball shoot outs, circus skills, roller-blading, skate-boarding, smoothie bikes and your chance to have a go on a wind surfer simulator.

So don't miss out on one of the biggest, free events for families set to take place as part of National Family Week 2010.

This event will also be part of the Guinness World Record attempt for the Largest Three-legged Race – Multiple Venues! If you wish to join in and help to enter the record books, make sure you and a family member or friend are ready to start the race at 3pm. And don't forget to register to make sure you count. To save time on the day, you can register now and bring your completed form with you to hand in to one of the organisers.
