Family Week Picnic

Monday 31st May

Join thousands of families across the country on the bank holiday Monday and spread out your rug at a Family Week Picnic for a day of fresh air, tasty food and family fun. There'll be hundreds of picnics happening across the country so you can find one near you.

Family Week Story Time

Wednesday 2nd June

Share a story, any time, any place, any how! Working with our sponsors and supporters there'll be Story Time sessions in libraries, museums, shopping centres, book stores and restaurants across the country and families will be encouraged to share their stories at home throughout the week.

Family Week House Party

Friday 4th June

Get planning your Family Week House Party now! Whether it's a giant family reunion or an excuse to invite local friends and family round, it's time for fun and games in your own home. We'll have great tips and ideas to get your party started PLUS loads of special offers and promotions to help make your house party a hit.

Family Of The Year

Once again we're on the search to find the UK's most exceptional family. Do you know a truly inspiring family… one that's been through adversity and come out the other side, or that's incredibly community minded, that's superbly sporty or perhaps just fantastically unique? Nominations will open from March.

Family Week Film Day

Tuesday 1st June

Watching films with the family is just the ticket on Family Film Day. There'll be discounted tickets to the cinema and offers on meals out so you can see the latest family blockbuster and share a tasty feast without breaking the bank.

Family Week Road Trip

Thursday 3rd June

It's time to get out and about and explore the country! We're encouraging families to visit some of the fantastic sites the UK has to offer and there'll be discounted entry into a whole host of family venues. There'll also be a Road Trip Treasure Hunt with the opportunity for you to WIN A CAR!

Family Week Sports Day

Saturday 5th June

Active families have the most fun so join in one of the hundreds of Sports Days being organised across the country on Saturday 5th June! Whether you're a couch potato or a budding Olympiad, there'll be something for every ability – and family member – to try. We're hoping to set a new Guinness World Record for the world's largest 3-legged race... so get practicing and watch this space for more details!
