"Family events have been a key part of the development of the Academy's Learning and Events" programme. We have been pleased to offer events in which children and parents can discover more about the film, TV and video games industries, from meeting industry professionals to taking part in activities. Family events are based on the idea of learning together, discussing and creating ideas and having lots of shared fun and laughter in the process. This can be especially rewarding when an event focuses on a film, TV show or video game which already plays a big part in the family's life at home."
Corinna Downing, Executive Producer - Learning Initiatives
The British Academy of Film and Television Arts supports, develops and promotes the art forms of the moving image, by identifying and rewarding excellence, inspiring practitioners and benefiting the public.
The Academy's Learning and Events programme, Access All Areas, opens doors for people new to the Film, TV and Video Games industries, building relationships between established names and emerging talent. Both at events and on-line, the organisation offers inspiration and information to all.
