Energy Saving Trust
The Energy Saving Trust is proud to be a supporter of National Families Week. As the body set up to help householders cut their carbon dioxide emissions, we believe that families have a vital role to play in Scotland's fight against climate change. There are so many things that families can do to cut the amount of energy they waste, from turning their thermostat down to switching their TV off standby. I would urge any family member who wants to save money while helping the environment to call our network of local advice centres on 0800 512012 or log on to www.energysavingtrust.org.uk/scotland.

The Energy Saving Trust is one of Scotland and the UK’s leading organisations addressing the damaging effects of climate change. It aims to cut carbon dioxide emissions – the main greenhouse gas causing climate change – by promoting the sustainable and efficient use of energy.
The Scottish Government’s Energy Assistance Package is funded by the Scottish Government and managed by the Energy Saving Trust. Open to people across Scotland, it aims to cut bills, boost incomes and make houses warmer and more energy efficient. Some people even qualify for free home improvements like a new boiler, central heating system, and insulation through the programme.
