People’s Trust for Endangered Species
A love of the countryside and the wildlife it supports often comes from our earliest experiences of family outings. There is no substitute for getting outside and seeing the natural world. How else will we understand the importance of looking after it for future generations? People’s Trust for Endangered Species is delighted to support National Family Week.

People’s Trust for Endangered Species (PTES) is a conservation charity helping to ensure a future for threatened animals and their habitats all over the world. One key role in achieving this is through education and raising awareness through positive experiences. The Trust runs a number of public surveys and funds numerous research projects in the UK, many of which can be visited by attending one of our Wildlife Encounter events. Take part in our Great Nut Hunt, help survey Mammals on Roads, dare to go Walking with Wolves or join a Badger Watch event. Families of all ages can get involved and learn more through taking part in one of these surveys or events, or even join our Kids Gone Wild club and download fun educational activities from our website.
