Sports Council Wales

Families are at the very heart of our society and the Sports Council for Wales hopes that this initiative will help encourage families to take part together in physical activity. Indeed, Dragon Sport - Wales' biggest extra-curricular campaign to get primary school children more active - recognizes this and tries to encourage Mums, Dads and other family members to run after-school sessions. If young people get involved in sport and activity at a young age, they are much more likely to continue leading a healthy and active life as they get older.
