Turn2us helps people in financial need – and those who support them – access the money available to them through welfare benefits, charitable grants and other financial help.

There are around 13.5m people living in poverty in the UK today, 3.6m of whom are children – that means millions of families are struggling with their bills, struggling to feed and clothe their children, and, more often than not, struggling to make sense of what help may be available to them.

Turn2us can help some of those families that are struggling to get by to find out what sources of financial help are available to them, from welfare benefits and charitable grants to other sources of information and help. The following tools are available to use free of charge and confidentially for all families in the UK at www.turn2us.org.uk:

-    Our easy-to-use Benefits Checker helps to ensure that you are receiving all the welfare benefits you are entitled to
-    Turn2us Grants Search database contains the details of over £3,500 charitable funds that may be able to provide financial support and other services to families in need
-    There is a wealth of information available on the website that can help you with money-related issues, from managing your budget to claiming benefits.
