How can your not-for-profit organisation get involved?

National Family Week offers not-for-profit organisations a celebratory national occasion to connect with families. Your organisation can use The Week to showcase your work - how you support families, offer activities and services for families, develop family-friendly policies, or engage in other ways in the promotion of family life. You can run activities as a fundraising exercise, to publicise your work, to recruit more members, or to simply have fun.

Exactly what type of activity or event is entirely up to you and these events can take place any time during August however the main events and activities for National Family Week will take place during the 25th – 31st August 2012. To help get you started we have created some themes, these are Family Health & Fitness, Family Food, Family Environment, Family Safety and Family Learning. Download the Toolkits below to find out more.

To date, thousands of organisations from across the UK including local authorities, charities, sporting clubs, schools, community groups, children’s centres and faith groups have all taken part in National Family Week.
